A successful Residential Children worker will be responsible for:
* Providing 24-hour care to vulnerable young people
* Ensuring children's health, hygiene, and safety needs are met.
* Administering medication
* Providing care, support, and emotional guidance to children living away from their families.
* Assisting in personal development, education, and social interactions.
* Managing challenging behaviour with appropriate strategies.
* Teaching essential life skills for independent living.
To be successful in your application, you will:
* Have previous experience working in a residential setting with young people
* Have flexibility in the roles undertaken
* Experience in assisting with educational needs and activities for children
* Have strong communication skills
* Register under the PVG scheme
* Full driving license (Preferred)
* Obtained, or working towards SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent desirable
