Job Description


As a Maintenance Engineer, you will support the Company’s operation across all sites working as part of a team to maintain our varied portfolio in multiple locations on reactive and planned works.

You will be a vital part of our Engineering Services team, ensuring our buildings are maintained to the highest standards and fully compliant with all Health, Safety Environment (HSE) building legislation. Your expertise will be crucial in upholding the integrity and functionality of our facilities.

Day to day responsibilities will encompass both proactive, pre-planned maintenance to prevent issues, and reactive maintenance to swiftly address any problems that arise. This will involve a broad range of tasks, from routine inspections and servicing to emergency repairs.

This is a demanding yet rewarding role that requires flexibility, with a working pattern of five days out of seven. This schedule may include weekend shifts.

You will also be required to contribute to an essential on-call service, ensuring continuous operational support.


Qualifications

* Experienced in multiple maintenance disciplines.
* Computer literate including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Ability to communicate with stakeholders.
* Experience of COSHH, risk assessments and permits to work.
* Ability to prioritise tasks with a flexible approach to working.
* Work as part of a team and independently.
* Possession of a current valid driving licence is required.


Additional Information

* Carrying out proactive preventative maintenance in accordance with SFG20 standards.
* Responding to requests that are raised through the Facilities Helpdesk.
* Performing all remedial maintenance work as discussed with the Maintenance Manager.
* Completing minor plumbing and joinery repairs and maintenance.
* Undertaking painting and decorating, equipment and building repairs as required.
* Chaperoning contractors ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
* Reporting and correcting any unreported faults noticed while performing duties to maintain the standards of upkeep at each of the properties.
* Obtaining quotes for minor technical parts as authorised.
* Completing collections and deliveries as and when required.
