We are looking for qualified teachers to deliver 1:1 and small group tuition in the M9 area of Manchester, including Harpurhey and Blackley. This role offers the chance to continue using your teaching skills in a more flexible, focused, and rewarding way – without the pressures of a full classroom.
Responsibilities
* Deliver 1:1 and small group tuition in the M9 area (Harpurhey and Blackley).
* Tailor teaching to each learner’s individual needs, including pupils who may be out of mainstream education due to SEND, SEMH, medical needs or anxiety.
* Rebuild confidence and close learning gaps, with the goal of helping pupils thrive on a one-to-one basis.
* Work in homes or local community settings, delivering sessions face-to-face.
* Use your subject knowledge to support learners flexibly within school-day hours.
Qualifications
* Strong subject knowledge in English and/or Maths.
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
* Experience or suitability for work with pupils who may be out of mainstream education is desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
