Job Title: Process Operator STC Shift - Waste Water
Location: Sandown, Isle of Wight
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Shift pattern (Equates to 40 hours per week)
you will work - 2 Days (6am - 6pm), 2 nights (6pm - 6am), 4 days off. After 7 rotations you will have 18 days off
Salary: £30,023 Starter salary + 20% Shift enhancement

Your core responsibilities will be:
3. Pollution sampling/reporting
4. Running the Sludge Treatment Centre
5. Maintenance tasks - unblocking pumps, screens and valves to ensure continuous plant operation.
6. Monitoring, collating and reporting of data to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.
7. Fault finding and problem-solving skills are essential to respond to breakdowns.
8. Site Hygiene in line with our regulatory obligations.
9. General site maintenance task eg. Check for H&S issues, site security, clean site and site components,
10. Reactive and PPM
You will be:
11. Comfortable working outdoors, potentially in all weather conditions.
12. Part of a team who delivers excellent performance by understanding how you affect the overall mission of Southern Water.
13. Have a good sense of humour, because of what you will be working with and not to be too squeamish…
