Eip care co-ordinator fep pathway

Nottingham (Nottinghamshire)
Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust
€60,000 - €80,000 a year
Posted: 16 June
Offer description

An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen within the Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (EIP) of Nottinghamshire Healthcare Foundation NHS Trust for a passionate and highly motivated Care Coordinator (Band 6) from either a Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Social Work background to join our team.

The EIP service in Nottinghamshire is delivered through a multidisciplinary team of practitioners who provide comprehensive assessments and evidence-based treatments for people aged 14-65 experiencing a First Episode Psychosis (FEP).

The EIP team is a community-based service operating Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

We are looking for applicants with a keen interest in working with the client group served by EIP and a desire to effectively support their families. Join a dedicated, enthusiastic, and supportive team to support individuals on their recovery journey, holding a caseload and practicing a holistic and person-centered approach to the individual's needs and goals.

A good understanding of the principles, ethos, assessments, and interventions associated with working within an Early Intervention in Psychosis team will be key. We provide additional training and support to contribute to the successful delivery of a high-quality NICE concordant service, including Behavioural Family Therapy (BFT).

Additional training will be offered to equip the person to undertake evidence-based interventions such as BFT, psychosocial, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for psychosis (CBTp)-informed interventions.

#TeamNottsHC comprises over 11,000 dedicated colleagues who #MakeADifference every day. We deliver services across Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, and South Yorkshire, including intellectual disability, mental health, community health, forensic, and offender healthcare services from over 200 sites, spanning community locations, acute settings, and secure environments, including prisons.

We are one of the largest mental health and community Trusts in the East Midlands and a major employer in Nottinghamshire. We host national and regional services, such as the National High Secure Deaf Service and the Nottingham Centre for Transgender Health.

We offer various employee-led staff networks, including Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) groups, the Green Champions network, the Freedom to Speak Up network, the Health and Wellbeing Champions network, and the Menopause Champions network. These support our diverse workforce and promote an inclusive culture.

The health and wellbeing of our colleagues is a top priority. We invest in this through our in-house occupational health and staff counselling services, supported by a dedicated Health and Wellbeing team.

The Trust is committed to reducing its carbon emissions, with a dedicated Energy and Environmental team working to ensure compliance with environmental legislation, enhance our environmental performance, and achieve our net-zero commitment.
