Role Description:Undertake a range of accounting and establishment activities and provide services in support of the management accounting, financial accounting and establishment monitoring functions for the business.
Main Responsibilities:
4. To support the Finance Business Partnering model within the wider organisation.
5. To assist in the closure of the annual accounts and produce outturn data in accordance with legislation.
6. To oversee certain exchequer functions as required.
7. To ensure that financial systems, practices and procedures are sound and in accordance with Standing Orders and Financial Regulations.
8. To liaise with internal and external auditors.
9. To ensure balance sheet reconciliations are undertaken in line with agreed timescales
Experience and Skills
10. Accounting qualification
11. Experience of working in a finance department
12. Experience of producing statement of accounts and year-end statements
13. Able to meet deadlines, prioritise workloads and work independently
14. Detail focussed
15. High level Excel skills
