We are looking for a Maths Teacher at West Bromwich.
Location: West Bromwich
Salary: dependent on experience and qualifications
Employment type: Temp
The Key Responsibilities Are
* Developing and implementing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
* Explaining mathematical concepts in an understandable way.
* Using various teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
* Creating a stimulating and safe learning environment.
* Preparing and distributing learning materials like notes, assignments, and quizzes.
* Utilizing technology and resources effectively in lessons.
* Encouraging student participation and engagement.
* Differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
Assessment And Evaluation
* Grading student work, including homework, quizzes, and tests.
* Providing constructive feedback to students.
* Monitoring student progress and identifying areas for improvement.
* Documenting and reporting on student performance.
* Assessing student understanding through various methods.
Classroom Management And Support
* Maintaining classroom discipline and a positive learning atmosphere.
* Providing individualized support and tutoring to students who need extra help.
* Collaborating with parents, guardians, and other staff members.
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Encouraging a love for mathematics and a growth mindset.
Professional Development
* Staying up-to-date on best practices in mathematics education.
* Participating in professional development opportunities.
* Reflecting on teaching practices and seeking continuous improvement.
* Collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning.
In addition to these core responsibilities, some Maths teachers may also:
* Lead or support school-wide initiatives related to mathematics.
* Mentor other teachers.
* Incorporate cross-curricular activities and projects.
* Prepare students for standardize
It would be full time, experience is preferred. An SEN back ground would be desireable. Salary would be dependent on experience and qualifications. QTS would be preferred.
