Job title: CDM Consultant
Department: Safety Department
Location: London and Surrounding Area
Job purpose:
* To discharge the duties of Principal Designer or assist the Client / Principal Designer carry out their roles specified in the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
Responsibilities:
* To liaise with Clients, Designers and Contractors as required by the scheme;
* To attend design reviews and design team meetings as required by the scheme;
* To advise Clients, Designers, and Contractors on their duties under the regulations;
* To attend pre-start and progress meetings as required by the scheme;
* Familiarity with design risk management and pre-construction information collation.
* You may be required to carry out other duties in line with your job status and level of responsibility, in order to meet the needs of the business.

* Proactive approach to project delivery, with the ability to anticipate issues and drive solutions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Mobility
* Willingness and ability to travel to project sites and client offices within the surrounding region.
* Full UK driving licence
Essential:
* NEBOSH General Certificate
* A thorough understanding of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and associated approved code of practice;
* Previous CDM Coordination experience within a consultancy organisation;
* Registered CDMC membership of the Association for Project Safety (RMaPS);
* Excellent organisation and communication skills;
* The ability to work under own initiative;
* The ability to prioritise and meet strict deadlines;
* A good level of IT skills.
* Driving License
Desirable:
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate;
* Technician Membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (TechIOSH
