Role Overview
Milk Education is delighted to be working with friendly and inclusive mainstream primary schools in the Liverpool area, who are seeking Primary teachers to support them for the remainder of this academic year as well as September 26′!
This role is ECT‑friendly and ideal for teachers who are either at the start of their career or looking to develop their confidence within a supportive and well‑structured school environment. You will be joining a collaborative team with strong leadership, clear expectations, and access to experienced colleagues who are keen to support and mentor.
The role offers an excellent opportunity to refine classroom practice while delivering engaging, structured, and meaningful learning experiences during a key stage of pupils’ educational development.
Classroom & School Support
1. Welcoming primary schools rooted in the local community
2. Experienced Classroom Teaching Assistant working alongside you
3. Additional SEN Teaching Assistant support available where required
4. Supportive senior leadership team with an open‑door policy
5. Collaborative team with shared planning and guidance
6. Positive, encouraging environment for ECT development
Key Responsibilities
7. Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary National Curriculum, with support as needed
8. Establish positive routines and strong relationships within a classroom
9. Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEN
10. Promote positive behaviour, inclusion, and emotional wellbeing
11. Use assessment effectively to track progress and inform planning
12. Support pupils with developing reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and numeracy skills
13. Work collaboratively with colleagues, mentors, the SENCO, and senior leadership

14. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are very welcome to apply
15. A developing or secure understanding of primary education
16. A reflective practitioner who is open to feedback and professional development
17. A positive, nurturing, and child‑centred approach to teaching
18. Confidence to work collaboratively and seek support when needed
19. A strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
