An exciting job role has recently become available at Sheffield City Council. They are looking for a new member for their MASH Team.
What will your responsibilities be?
The role involves providing effective social work, assessment, and case management for adults under the Care Act 2014. Responsibilities include maintaining Social Work Registration, supporting individuals through a strengths-based approach, and assessing needs to determine eligibility. You will collaborate with professionals, use IT systems for record-keeping, co-produce support plans, and conduct risk assessments. Additionally, you will safeguard adults, write reports for legal forums, contribute to student social worker development, and use best practices. Effective communication, negotiation skills, and knowledge of referral processes for housing and welfare benefits are essential.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be eligible for this role, you must have Social Work England registration and be eligible to work in the UK. Additionally, you need to hold a full UK driving licence and possess post-qualified experience. A degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work is also required.
