Site Installation Lead - Specialist Snow Sports Slope Builds Location: UK-based with extensive UK & overseas travel Employment Type: Full-time, permanent This is a long-term, hands-on role working on unique snow sports slope projects around the world. You'll join a small core team in a specialist engineering environment, building year-round synthetic snow sports slopes for clients in the UK and overseas. The position is practical and site-based from day one, with scope for the right person to grow into a more supervisory or managerial role over time. This role: Involves regular working away, often internationally. Requires physical, hands-on installation work on active construction sites. Means solving problems on live sites, sometimes with limited information. Involves taking responsibility early in a small, growing business. Is not office-based and not structured like a corporate role. You might be a great fit if: You actively want to travel and work in places most people never will. You enjoy building things and are not afraid of hard, physical work. You're comfortable working under an experienced site lead, while taking on increasing responsibility as you develop. You're happy organising people and tasks while also doing the work alongside them. You like being trusted to figure things out rather than following a script. You'd rather be a big fish in a small pond than a cog in a large machine. An engineering background, trade or mechanical qualification, or health & safety awareness would be useful but is not essential. What matters most is your attitude, adaptability, and sense of ownership. What You'll Be Doing: Installing specialist snow sports slope systems on live sites in the UK and overseas. Working as a hands-on operative within a small build team, often away from home for periods of time. Supporting the day-to-day organisation of site activities, including materials and logistics. Assisting with coordinating labour on site when required. Tackling and resolving practical problems as they arise. Gradually taking on more supervisory responsibilities as your experience and capability grow. What's On Offer: A long-term role in a unique, niche global business delivering unusual and interesting projects worldwide. A clear opportunity, for the right person, to progress into a more supervisory or managerial position over time. Responsibility and influence far earlier than you'd typically get in a larger organisation. Work that is challenging, varied, and occasionally tough but rarely boring. Competitive pay depending on experience, plus travel-related allowances. Experiences and project environments you simply won't find in standard engineering or construction roles. Interested in This Role? If a hands-on, travel-heavy site role building unique snow sports slopes worldwide genuinely excites you, we want to hear from you. Please submit your CV along with a brief cover note telling us: Why this practical, on-site installation position with extensive travel appeals to you. INDAC
