My client, a globally recognised law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced Legal Risk & Compliance professional to join them on a permanent basis in their London office - working as their new Risk & Compliance Officer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a law firm with offices across the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia - working in an experienced Legal Risk & Compliance team, headed up by the London-based Risk & Compliance Partner.
As the successful Risk & Compliance Officer, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
* Conducting client due diligence, reviewing KYC documentation and undertaking AML/sanction searches
* Reviewing changes to clients and reviewing risk assessments
* Ensuring all matter information is kept accurate and up-to-date
* Providing internal training to the team and wider firm
* Setting up and amending information barriers
* Assisting with compliance reporting and the production of spreadsheets
* Assisting the Risk Lawyers with preparing internal audit files
To be considered for this new opportunity, you'll need to have/be the following:
* Have a minimum of two years' experience in Legal Risk & Compliance
* Have a completed law degree (LLB/GDL)
* Be able to commute into the London office at least three days per week
