CAD and Project Engineer required for an expanding and well‑established company. The company offers training on their products and services.
Reading
£30,000 – £40,000 DOE + Pension (after qualifying period) + Parking + 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Healthcare (after qualifying period) + Travel Expenses to site visits.
9am to 5.30pm Mon–Thurs and 9am to 4.30pm Friday.
Role Summary
You will create general arrangement and detailed drawings for Noise Control projects, ensuring specifications are met. The successful candidate will work within a small team and with clients to develop designs to meet project requirements. You may be required to attend site visits when needed; a pool car/expenses will be available.
Responsibilities
* Produce 2D designs using BricsCAD
* Review and update drawings based upon client comments/design changes
* Produce manufacturing drawings
* Produce installation drawings
* Produce parts lists
* Produce fixings list
* Attend site visits
* Assist with general office duties
* Liaise with factory to ensure smooth progress of manufacturing
Required Experience
* 2D CAD experience in Noise Control or Building/Mechanical Services
* Experience in design products fabricated from sheet metal with a knowledge of light‑weight structural steel fabrications
* Excellent attention to detail
