You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining a range of quality, engaging and innovative long term learning solutions that meet the customer requirements and modern learning principals. You will work in close partnership with Portfolio Managers (PMs), Design Development Managers (DDMs), Design Development Consultants (DDCs), LDs and business stakeholders to understand requirements, timelines and expected outcomes in line with HMRC and Tax Academy (TA) strategic priorities.This role requires creative and motivated people, who will take a fresh and innovative approach to the design of learning using new methods and technologies to ensure learning is informative, engaging and interactive.Job descriptionProviding a design service, using your knowledge and expertise of modern adult learning theories and learning design principles, contributing to Learning Needs Analyses (LNA) and/or Performance Needs Analysis (PNA) to produce appropriate learning media, approach and solutions.Applying your understanding of modern design principals, resulting in the design of engaging learning solutions that meet detailed and sometimes complex learning requests. Championing use of our approved tools, styles and standards, participating in the quality review process of all learning products to ensure quality outcomes.Drafting detailed design documents, including measurable and business focused learning objectives, appropriate content and evaluation interventions, conducting in depth research, where required and working with technical experts where appropriate.Producing storyboards, scripts, self-study materials, assessments and handouts for blended solutions, to create effective learning, routeways and/or framework materials and products.Establishing and developing collaborative relationships with stakeholders communicating clearly and regularly with them using a variety of methods. Managing and meeting deadlines, taking personal responsibility for fulfilling learning solution requirements, meeting quality standards.Working closely with PMs, DDMs, DDCs and LDs across TA and beyond, driving forward change.
