Shift Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

We’re representing a long-established manufacturer with a reputation for quality and continuous investment in both people and technology. Operating within the print and packaging supply chain, they run a high-speed, high-volume site supplying major FMCG brands.
As part of their skilled engineering team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring production equipment runs reliably, safely, and efficiently. This is a role for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in keeping complex machinery running at its best.
What you’ll be doing
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
Fault-finding and diagnostics on large-scale FMCG machinery
Electrical maintenance and repair, with mechanical engineering support
Working with contractors and suppliers to secure critical spares
Supporting continuous improvement and efficiency projectsWhat we’re looking for
Strong electrical skills, ideally supported by relevant qualifications (18th Edition Wiring Regs, etc)
Mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with large machinery
Experience in fast-paced FMCG, print or packaging environments (preferred)
Excellent problem-solving ability and calmness under pressure
Willingness to support occasional out-of-hours requirementsWhy apply?
