3. Administer the day-to-day operations of pension schemes in compliance with relevant legislation.
4. Ensure accurate calculation and processing of pension contributions and benefits.
5. Maintain and update pension records securely and in a timely manner.
6. Provide guidance and support to employees regarding pension-related queries.
7. Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external audits.
8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of pension processes.
9. Stay informed about changes in pension regulations and update procedures accordingly.
10. Identify and resolve discrepancies in pension data and payments.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Pensions Officer should have:
11. Proven experience in administering pension schemes within the public sector.
12. Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
13. Ability to interpret and apply pension legislation accurately.
14. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
15. Proficiency in using relevant software and systems for pension management.
