Join Our Costs Department as an Invoicing Clerk!
Are you highly organised, detail‑driven and motivated by delivering accurate, high‑quality work? We’re looking for an Invoicing Clerk to join our dynamic Costs Department, supporting the timely and precise production of a wide range of invoices and financial documentation.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth financial operations, excellent client service and full compliance with regulatory standards.
Working closely with the Head of Costs: Invoicing, you’ll take ownership of the invoicing process from end to end—reviewing case information, producing interim and final invoices, processing credit notes, and collaborating with finance colleagues to support efficient cost realisation.

Main Responsibilities:
14. Produce accurate and timely invoices, statutory bills and credit notes in line with the Invoicing Strategy.
15. Review invoicing packs and manage all invoicing requests and mailbox queries.
16. Work collaboratively with finance to monitor balances, resolve queries and improve invoicing processes.
17. Maintain accurate case management data and ensure compliance with departmental policies and regulatory requirements.
18. Support operational improvements and assist colleagues across the Costs Department.
19. Review reports to ensure outstanding tasks are actioned and highlight opportunities for improvement.
20. Contribute to enhancing systems, processes and overall effectiveness of the invoicing function.

Essential Skills and Experience:
21. Good general IT skills.
22. Experience of solicitor’s accounts ledgers preferred.
23. Costs or Accounts experience beneficial.
24. Good time management.
25. Work effectively within a team.
26. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
27. Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
28. Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
29. Excellent verbal communication skills with a proactive and positive manner
