Job Title: Assistant Pastoral Manager
Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, North Yorkshire, Redcar
Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £150 - £220
Job Duties:
* Assist the Pastoral Manager in overseeing the pastoral care and well-being of students
* Support the implementation of strategies to promote positive behaviour and student welfare
* Provide guidance and support to students facing personal or academic challenges
* Conduct regular check-ins with students to assess their well-being and progress
* Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive and inclusive school environment
Required Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a similar educational or pastoral role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* A genuine passion for supporting the well-being and development of young people
Education:
* Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant field
Experience:
* Experience working in an educational setting or with young people
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of pastoral care principles and practises
* Ability to provide guidance and support to students in need
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Level 4 qualification in Education, Social Work, or a related field
* Additional training in counselling or mental health support
Working Conditions:
* Work primarily within a school environment
* May involve some evening or weekend work for events or student support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
