Regulatory Project Manager (Strategy) role at Yorkshire Water (via TieTalent). Location: Bradford / Hybrid working with one to two days in the office in Bradford BD6. Employment type: Permanent, 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

* Salary: £38,165 to £47,707 (dependent on experience).
* Annual incentive related bonus: up to £1,000.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Regulatory Project Manager (Strategy) to join the Strategy & Regulation team at Yorkshire Water and help deliver great service to our customers. The role is accountable for planning and managing the delivery of regulatory and legislative projects. A good awareness of the regulatory and legislative framework, with the ability to articulate the purpose to others and secure a successful outcome. The Regulatory Project Manager may also take the technical lead or become the subject matter expert on activities to implement or embed new regulatory concepts.
Where you fit in
As our Regulatory Project Manager you will:
* Create and execute project work plans, revising as necessary to meet changing requirements.
* Prepare high-level business cases, recognizing costs and benefits to support project sponsors.
* Manage resources in collaboration with functional managers, sponsors, and sub-contractors.
* Lead, scope, and manage projects to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Produce high-quality reports on ROI, risk, business case, and implementation plans.
* Promote new ideas and drive project opportunities through collaboration with partners, contractors, and suppliers.
* Manage stakeholders and ensure effective communication plans are in place.
* Represent the organization with regulators, coordinate regulatory submissions, and provide regulatory analysis and support.
Skills and qualifications
* Experience of managing full life cycle projects.
* Project Management qualifications or similar (e.g., PRINCE2 and APM).
* Experience of managing and leading a project team with a track record of delivering performance against targets.
* Experience of business planning, resource and budget management.
* Experience of strategic thinking, establishing clear strategic direction and implementing plans.
* Experience of leading and embedding change, influencing and driving the right culture and behaviours.
* Experience of compiling, interpreting, and communicating data, including presenting key items and risks at all levels.
* Good communication skills across the business and at all levels; ability to influence and lead appropriately; develop and maintain internal and external relationships.
You will also benefit from having
* Knowledge of the Regulatory framework and legislation relevant to the Water Industry.
* Previous experience gained within the water or wastewater sectors or within the broader utilities, process or manufacturing industry sectors.
* Experience in a commercially oriented environment, in strategic leadership and / or an operational role.
* Experience of enabling and embedding change, able to influence and drive right culture and behaviours.
