Band 7 Senior Aseptic Services Pharmacist

Would you like to support the provision of a quality assurance service for a brand-new state of the art Section 10 Aseptic Services Unit? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for a pharmacist to join us as a Senior Aseptic Services Pharmacist.

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.

Overview

At Great Western Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (GWH) we are transforming aseptic service provision into a patient centred, resilient and reactive service to support the national agenda for Aseptic Services Transformation. Two new Section 10 cleanrooms will soon be open to support high cost, short expiry, agile chemotherapy provision and future unmet patient need. This is a unique opportunity to be part of implementing a new aseptic service from the ground up. Progression roles from band 6 to band 7 will be considered for pharmacists with an interest in aseptic services where all criteria are not met.

* Work closely with the pharmacy aseptic services technical team and pharmacy cancer team to co-ordinate treatment provision to the Day Therapy Unit, haematology inpatient unit and other medical wards requiring high risk injectable medicines.
