Health & Safety Administrator

About the role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health and Safety Administrator to support our Health and Safety Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about health and safety and looking to develop a career. You will work closely with our Health and Safety Manager to ensure our sites remain safe, compliant, and efficient.
This position is covering different sites across Monmouth therefore a full clean driving licence is essential as is your own vehicle.
Duties:
* Support the implementation and enforcement of Health and Safety procedures across all sites, as advised by the Health and Safety Manager.
* Work closely with the Health and Safety Manager to ensure legal and company compliance.
* Review, document, and track all accidents, incidents, and near misses on site, and to work closely with the HR team when required.
* Regular review of company CCTV to ensure it is working correctly
* Organise and participate in Health and Safety meetings, preparing agendas and recording minutes.
* Maintain internal records and compliance tracking systems.
* Support in the development and communication of Health and Safety training materials and initiatives, including delivering health and safety inductions for new starters.
* Actively contribute ideas to improve safety culture on site.
* Keep up to date with legislative changes and best practices in health and safety.
* Some travel may be required on an ad hoc basis to our UK showroom locations
About you
Experience:
* Experience or keen interest in health and safety, ideally within a busy warehouse and logistics environment.
* The ability to build and maintain working relationships across all areas of the business
* Creative skills – being able to design and produce engaging Health & Safety materials to be shared across company sites and platforms.
* Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* High attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
* IT proficient, especially in Microsoft Office Suite.
Working hours
Monday to Friday 9.00 – 17.30 and alternate Saturdays 9.00am – 12.30pm (paid until 1pm)
