Science Teacher – Independent School – Surrey
A leading Independent secondary school in Surrey is seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their thriving Science department. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 teaching for a suitably experienced candidate. The role offers the opportunity to work within a highly resourced and academically focused environment.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
* Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that fosters intellectual curiosity and independent learning.
* Assess student progress rigorously and provide detailed, personalized feedback.
* Contribute to the development of the whole Science curriculum, potentially including enrichment activities and extension opportunities.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Science department and across the wider school community.

Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* A strong degree in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field).
* Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level, ideally within the independent sector.
* Excellent subject knowledge across all three sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) at Key Stage 3 and 4.
* Exceptional communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
