As the company prepares for the retirement of its General Manager, Scott & Ewing is seeking to appoint a talented replacement. This successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of the business while upholding Scott & Ewing’s excellent reputation in the building services industry. Scott & Ewing is on the cusp of winning some substantial multi-year contracts and with a strong balance sheet and a highly skilled team in place, this appointment comes at a wonderful time of opportunity.
The successful candidate will lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of excellence while building and maintaining strong relationships with sub-contractors. You will oversee the project management and delivery of complex mechanical contracts, ensuring quality delivery, adherence to contractual terms and compliance with relevant regulations and standards in the mechanical engineering sector.
This role requires a minimum of five years’ experience in management or project oversight, preferably within mechanical services/contracting or professional advisory/consultancy sectors. Your track record of building high-performing teams and managing subcontractor relationships is crucial. Your expertise in tendering, procurement, and market dynamics will drive new opportunities and commercial success.
