We're looking for a User Researcher to help shape the future of the subscription experience. You'll lead research that informs both tactical improvements and strategic redesigns, uncovering insights that drive clarity, value, and seamless user journeys across web and app. This is a hands-on role where you'll collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering.
What You'll Do
• Plan and conduct user research to validate freemium models, pricing strategies, and monetisation opportunities.
• Lead discovery activities, including interviews, usability testing, and concept validation for flexible product movement experiences.
• Design and execute research plans that answer key questions for both short-term tactical changes and long-term strategic redesign.
• Analyse and synthesise findings into clear, actionable insights that inform design and product decisions.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure research aligns with business goals.
• Champion human-centred design principles, accessibility, and usability throughout the product lifecycle.
• Communicate insights effectively through reports, presentations, and workshops that influence decision-making.
What We're Looking For
• Proven experience in user research for digital products, ideally in e-commerce or subscription-based SaaS.
• Strong skills in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including usability testing, interviews, and surveys.
• Ability to frame research questions, define hypotheses, and select appropriate methodologies.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous problem spaces, shaping clarity through evidence.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Experience with remote research tools (e.g., UserTesting) and familiarity with analytics platforms.
• Commercial mindset — balancing user needs and business outcomes.
• Ability to translate insights into design and product recommendations that drive measurable impact.
