About This Role
Unique opportunity to support the development of the CREATE Bristol platform as part of a 148‑hour/6‑week Summer Internship Programme.
Responsibilities
* Strengthen connections between UWE Bristol and external organisations in the creative industries.
* Assist outreach to businesses and partners to promote internships and Professional Practice Week.
* Develop profiles for organisations joining the CREATE Bristol network: research, copywrite short profiles, and maintain accurate data.
* Support administrative and communication tasks: respond to emails, update databases, and assist day‑to‑day activities.
* Gain experience in professional communication, networking, and project support within a university careers environment.
Qualifications
* Proactive and organised student or graduate with interest in stakeholder engagement, communication, and administration.
* Strong written communication skills and ability to reach out to organisations via email or other channels.
* Effective time‑management, prioritisation, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Comfortable with digital tools and computer systems to input information, organise data, and support basic reporting.
Where You Will Be Working
UWE Bristol City Campus in Bristol city centre, including Bower Ashton Studios, Arnolfini, Spike Island and Watershed. The role is based on campus with the option to work from home 1–2 days per week.
Working Hours and Compensation
This is a part‑time, temporary 6‑week internship (approximately 148 hours). Salary is commensurate with university guidelines, reflecting your skills and experience.
