Mobile Plant Operator - South Kirkby, Wakefield
£30,849 per annum
2 Shift Pattern - 6am – 2 pm / 2pm – 10pm
Key Responsibilities
* Assists in the delivery of a safe operation within operational areas
* Ensure all mobile plant is maintained to manufacturers recommendation
* Follow all risk assessments and safe operating procedure that are relevant to the post
* Comply with and actively participate in company standards, procedures, environmental and quality systems.
* Ensure the plant is fed with material throughout the shift using the loading shovel
* Ensure all loads leaving are loaded to maximise weights.
* Control traffic flows are managed to ensure a safe operation
* Ensure any client vehicles tipping waste are prioritised to ensure contractual targets are achieved
* Keep all equipment clean and maintained to ensure a safe working environment
Essential Criteria
* Previous experience operating mobile plant vehicles
* Nationally recognised training certificates for operating Mobile plant - Loading Shovel
* Basic understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance.
* Good organisation skills and the ability to forward plan making best use of time.
