EP is an Aberdeen based water treatment business which designs and installs and maintains effluent treatment plants, oil-water separator systems, water recycling systems, and offers tailored environmental consultancy and sample analysis services.
Providing design, installation and preventative maintenance routines on bespoke water systems for the treatment of oily effluent, the applicant must have previous experience with centrifugal pumps, mechanical pipework, pressure vessels, and basic plumbing.
An understanding of drain systems and underground oil water separators/interceptors is desirable.
Previous experience in mechanical engineering and water treatment is preferred, and experience in legionella testing would be attractive.
The position will be field based, and there may be opportunities for occasional offshore visits, therefore current BOSIET may be an advantage, but not essential.
The applicant must have previous experience of site-based work, as they will be expected to be carrying out their duties on busy oil & gas service sites. Familiarity with service sites, risk assessments, method statements and permit to work systems is preferred.
The applicant will have excellent communication skills as they are expected to quickly develop rapport with the customers, draft service reports noting technical tasks and manage maintenance schedules.
Equipment specific training given.
Benefits Package Commensurate with Experience.
While this is primarily a service role, it includes an element of technical sales and consultancy and therefore offers an excellent opportunity for a driven, ambitious person with the skills to help further develop EP and benefit from growth in the business.
