A local authority in Essex is seeking a Housing Allocations Officer to join the busy team. This is a fast-paced frontline role that makes a real difference to people in need across the district.
Responsibilities
* Assess housing applications and maintain the Housing Register
* Liaise with agencies to verify information and determine priority
* Support applicants, including those at risk of homelessness
* Provide nominations to housing associations and respond to enquiries
What youll bring
* Experience in housing and knowledge of the Housing Act (Parts 6 & 7)
* Experience using Abritas
* Full driving licence and access to a car
* 3 days office presence
