Annual salary: up to £39,471.71 Multi Skilled Operative Belfast Full Time, Permanent, 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Salary up to £39,471.71 per annum, plus, company van & fuel card Our housing teams provide rapid response and planned maintenance services for local authorities and registered providers and deliver in excess of 5,000 repairs every day to a growing portfolio of around 1,000,000 homes across the UK. We also provide a range of services to cover all areas of the housing sector, including regeneration, contact centre solutions, housing management, home improvement, facilities management, estate services, grounds maintenance, student accommodation and new build. About the Role: Take ownership in undertaking construction, fault finding and maintenance repairs aiming for a first-time completion whilst remaining within budget and time parameters. Deliver additional trade activities in support of completing repair/refurbishment works on time and to a high standard in accordance with agreed standard operating procedures. Ensure that the customer experience is central to all activities by adopting a professional manner when communicating with service users, clients, and both internal/external stakeholders. It may be necessary where requested to obtain Customer feedback on completion of works. Process all activities in association with tasks/works electronically utilising a handheld device (PDA). Keep all supplied company assets in a good condition in line with the company policies and report to your Supervisor/Manager where damages occur. Utilise existing stock or collect materials as and when required to meet works order requirements, in accordance with standard operating procedures for purchasing and van stock control compliance. Attend informal and formal meetings and training sessions as required. Participate in call out cover when required to ensure contract compliance & service user satisfaction for emergency repairs. Role Criteria: Level 3 qualified in a minimum of one trade discipline and having capabilities to undertake works from the following selection: Carpentry & Joinery Plastering Plumbing Experience in various trade disciplines. Able to understand & follow standard operating procedures. Experience working within Social Housing (Desirable).
