We’re working with a global engineering firm as they look to recruit the new role of Technical Marketing Manager to their business. They’re a really fast growing business and this post-holder will work closely with the BD team playing a key role in ensuring their brand stands up to task in existing and new markets and regions. It’s an exciting role with a real hands-on approach.
Responsibilities:
* Utilising market research and stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform brand strategy and positioning.
* Responsible for leading and facilitating the global marketing activities for the UK, US and key regions.
* Maintaining brand presence in existing markets and introducing the brand to new markets and regions.
* Manage and develop the brand image and identity, ensuring external company communications are presented according to brand and tone.
* Ensuring consistency across all marketing and company templates and documents.
* Develop and monitor budgets for brand marketing efforts.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
* Identify and proactively address potential brand reputation issues.
* Responsible for marketing assets and content plan across platforms (website, flyers, social media etc).
* Co-ordination of events including conferences and webinars and associated promotion, including logistics, across the UK, US, Europe & Asia.
* Co-ordination of internal communications, working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to develop communications campaigns to aid company objectives, promote engagement, and contribute to the positive work environment.
* Support and facilitate social media content and release as well as maintaining the company website.
Skills required:
Experience in working in a technical environment is essential.
Experience in developing and delivering technical marketing strategies.
Ability to communicate clear and engaging technical content using a variety of channels.
Strong copy writing and editing skills.
Experience co-ordinating events, including exhibitions stands.
What’s on Offer?
The role is offered on a hybrid basis, 3 days in the office. There’s a real flexibility over start and finish times, and as this is an engineering firm, they close at lunchtime on a Friday. Salary for the role is up to £60k and there’s a lots of other softer benefits available.
