Role Description
We are currently looking to recruit an IT Systems Technician to join our team in Bury St Edmunds.
This is a full-time position aimed at complimenting the current skill sets within our IT team whilst also providing you with the opportunity to continue to learn and develop.
Key responsibilities include:
* Support IT Manager in providing day – to day support and development for core business applications
* Support IT Manager in investigating and resolving data issues, and user requests
* Develop the ability to maintain and enhance applications over time
* Assist with maintaining data interfaces, imports / exports and automation routines
* Work with business teams to understand requirement and translate them into technical solutions
* Help identify opportunities for system improvements, automation and efficiency gains
* Support IT controls by ensuring changes are traceable, reviewed and appropriately tested
Qualifications & Experience
* 2 – 5 years’ experience within an IT Department is preferable
* Experience of supporting ERP / MRP suites
* Proactive and hands‑on approach
* Experience of programming ( any language ) and willingness to learn further programming languages
* Experience implementing and embedding an ERP system desirable
* Understanding of Systems administration
