Overview
Accurately measuring meal ingredients for the Chef de Partie.
Responsibilities
* Prepare meal ingredients, including seasoning of different meats, and washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits.
* Prepare basic salads and sauces as directed by the Chef de Partie.
* Receive deliveries and verify that all items have been delivered and are of good quality.
* Take inventory of restaurant supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies are low or depleted.
* Discard expired and spoiled food items stored in stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers.
* Perform basic cleaning duties and ensure workstations are properly sanitized.
* Plate and present meal items as per the Chef de Partie's instructions.
