Responsibilities
* Preparation and production of accounts and tax computations from clients\' records for mainly limited companies but occasionally traders and partnerships
* Preparation of periodic bookkeeping and management accounts
* Preparation and submission of VAT returns
* Training and supervision of more junior members of the department
* Company secretarial and general administration duties
Profile
A successful Accounts Manager should have:
* AAT qualified (or qualified by sufficient experience)
* Experience of working in a practice (Preferred not essential)
* Knowledge of CCH, Sage and Zero software (Preferred not essential)
* Ability and willingness to work within a team
* Able to commute to Huddersfield
