Job Title: Shift HVAC Multi Skilled Engineer
CBRE, a global leader in real estate services, is seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to join our team in Warrington. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical and mechanical systems within the building, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and manage risks associated with onsite equipment, including critical spares, performance improvements, environmental conditions via BMS, and preventative maintenance programs.
2. Utilize new equipment and technologies to maintain a comfortable environment, liaising with clients regarding reactive and PPM tasks.
3. Fault find on HVAC systems, with a focus on Variable Refrigerant Volume air conditioning, and handle refrigerants safely with F-Gas qualifications.
4. Support health and safety initiatives within the team.
5. Act as Energy Champion and assist as Safety Champion for the site.
6. Provide electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance team.
7. Prepare and review risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards.
8. Complete all documentation in accordance with legal and company requirements.
9. Use mobile devices and CAFM systems to manage and document work activities.
10. Plan daily tasks using email and calendar tools to ensure efficiency.
11. Coordinate with onsite supervisors and account managers on building services issues.
12. Serve as the responsible person in the absence of the site supervisor.
13. Work overtime, including nights and weekends, as required.
14. Perform ad hoc duties and supervise subcontractors.
15. Participate in an on-call rota for emergency responses outside normal hours.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Recognized or time-served apprenticeship.
* Proven experience in HVAC maintenance.
* Mechanical qualifications to City and Guilds standards.
* Strong multi-skilled capabilities and fault-finding skills.
* Ability to supervise contractors and complete risk assessments and method statements.
* Understanding of permits and safe systems of work.
* F-Gas safe handling certification.
* Desirable: Working at height, IPAF/PASMA, AP qualifications, BMS experience.
