Are you a compassionate and experienced Support Worker looking to make a real difference?
We are working in partnership with a well-respected care provider supporting adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours in residential and community-based settings. We're currently seeking dedicated, resilient, and proactive Support Workers who are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex/challenging behaviours
* Promoting independence and community integration
* Providing emotional support and practical assistance with daily activities
* Supporting with personal care and mobility (as required)
* Managing and de-escalating behaviours that challenge in a professional, safe, and compassionate manner
* Ensuring service users' safety and wellbeing at all times
Requirements:
? Previous experience in a similar role within the care/support sector? UK Manual driving licence and access to a vehicle - essential ? Right to work in the UK with no current or future sponsorship requirements? Strong understanding of safeguarding, person-centred care, and behavioural support strategies? Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends as needed? Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
