What you would do as our Facilities and Maintenance Manager As our Facilities and Maintenance Manager you will demonstrate strong leadership skills by ensuring a robust safety culture and compliance for the Maintenance team. In this role you will play a crucial role in the restructuring of the facilities, plant and equipment, to drive operational improvements, and layouts. You would also: Maintain legal compliance and service records, including registers for insurance, water risk assessments, F-Gas, and drawings. Keeps maintenance systems updated with new plant information, weekly tasks, and helpdesk logs. Coordinate and manage contractors for compliance, servicing, repairs, and alterations (e.g., HVAC, fire alarms, substations). Handle work order prioritization, quote collection, purchase requisitions, and contractor scheduling. Oversee on-site contractor activities, including RAMs, inductions, and permit-to-work procedures as Person in Charge (PIC). The skills and experience you need We are looking for someone who: Is experienced in mechanical, electrical, and building services, with a strong background in plant maintenance, reconditioning and management. Is skilled in CAD for creating, modifying, and maintaining up-to-date site and electrical distribution drawings. Holds qualifications in Mechanical Engineering Maintenance and Factory Services, including EITB or equivalent certifications. Is certified in CAD or holds an equivalent technical qualification. Possesses basic CNC programming skills to support mechanical maintenance and engineering tasks.
