Hours: Full time 37.5 hours Join the Fundraising team as Individual Giving Manager and make a difference! The Individual Giving Manager will manage the Individual Giving and Lottery teams within Fundraising. The post will have delegated responsibility of Individual Giving, In-Memory, Legacy and Lottery income streams raising over £2.5 million a year towards the Hospice’s specialist care. You will inspire innovation and plan for strategic growth to develop new and existing appeals and initiatives to bring long-term reliable income to help the Hospice be there for everyone who needs it, now and into the future. The post will work closely with Fundraising Managers to identify and plan robust and personal supporter journeys to retain and acquire new donors to Ashgate Hospice, especially through regular gifts and legacies. You will lead and support the team in their development and in an integrated and a cross-departmental approach to maximise fundraising potential. Key responsibilities: Build and maintain relationships with our donors through implementing robust supporter journeys To be the lead for strategic development and growth of Ashgate Hospice’s Individual Giving, In Memory, Legacy and Lottery income streams Oversee the implementation of the new Tree of Life, a regular giving product for in-memory givers to the Hospice Ensure donors feel connected with the work of the hospice and communication plans are executed to share how their donations have made a difference Budget and forecast income and expenditure for Individual Giving, In Memoriam, Legacy and Lottery income streams, with a focus on increasing net contribution and maximising GiftAid contributions Contribute to the leadership and management of team members, fostering collaborative environment where team members support each other in overcoming challenges and achieving goals. What you’ll bring: Here’s what we’re looking for: A skilled professional fundraiser with proven fundraising management experience Knowledge and understanding of Individual Giving, including Legacy and In Memoriam Giving and Lottery Excellent people management and leadership skills with the proven ability to manage and motivate others to achieve exceptional results Highly organised with an eye for attention to detail and accuracy Thorough understanding of fundraising best practice, charity legislation and data protection Experience managing budgets, achieving fundraising results and growing income About Ashgate: Ashgate Hospice, based in North Derbyshire, offers free palliative and end of life care for adults with life-limiting or incurable illnesses, including cancer, neurological diseases, and advanced heart, kidney, and lung conditions.
