About the role
Our Land Managers are crucial to our success. We provide all necessary tools to help you succeed, and you will be supported and respected throughout your career with us.
You will work with our in-house team of experts, including architects, planners, legal, technical, commercial, and construction professionals, to create efficient and effective offers. Our senior management team is also land-focused, working towards shared goals.
This fast-paced role involves managing the full land acquisition lifecycle:
* Investigating opportunities through extensive contacts.
* Identifying sites via targeted marketing efforts.
* Conducting desktop research, data analysis, and using Land Insight.
* Visiting target towns in person to assess sites.
* Carrying out site appraisals, preparing reports, and proposals.
* Managing offers and negotiations.
* Supporting and mentoring Land Buyers and Coordinators.
You will collaborate with your Land Director and team to develop regional land acquisition strategies.
About you
We seek an experienced Land Manager or a successful Senior Land Buyer ready for the next career step. You should be motivated, ambitious, proactive, and passionate about land acquisition and development.
You must have proven experience managing the entire process from site identification to contract exchange. Backgrounds can vary across property sectors, including commercial, retail, hospitality, or land agencies. What unites our team is a passion for the work, dedication, self-motivation, and a drive to succeed.
Confidence and competence as a driver with a valid UK license are essential, as you will spend much time out of the office.
