Help Desk Administrator Location: Hebburn Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site A well-established facilities management and engineering services provider is seeking a Help Desk Administrator to join its busy operations team based in Hebburn. The organisation delivers planned and reactive maintenance services across a range of sectors including commercial buildings, healthcare, hospitality, education and public sector environments. With a strong reputation for engineering excellence and customer service, the company supports clients nationwide through its network of regional teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, coordinating maintenance activities and supporting engineering teams. The Role As a Help Desk Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of maintenance requests and service delivery. You will act as a central point of contact for clients and engineers, ensuring issues are logged, prioritised and resolved efficiently. Key Responsibilities Logging and managing maintenance requests through the helpdesk system Scheduling and coordinating engineer visits Monitoring job progress and ensuring works are completed within agreed timeframes Communicating updates to clients and internal teams Prioritising reactive maintenance requests and allocating resources accordingly Maintaining accurate records of service requests, job updates and completion reports Supporting the operations team with general administrative duties Ensuring high levels of customer service and professional communication Requirements Strong administrative and organisational skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Experience coordinating tasks or scheduling works in a fast-paced environment Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to work Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and scheduling systems High attention to detail and accuracy when handling data and records Previous experience within facilities management, maintenance or service coordination would be beneficial but not essential Whats on Offer Salary up to £32,000 depending on experience Full-time, office-based role in Hebburn Opportunity to join a growing and well-established facilities management business Supportive team environment with opportunities to develop within the operations function
