Overview

Nottinghamshire County Council's Property Commissioning Team is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Property Commissioning Officer to join our dedicated team.

This role involves shaping the future of services, collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure delivery of high-quality property projects. You may work on programmes delivering new school and council buildings, maintenance and repair of the existing estate, or expansion and improvement of council service delivery buildings. You will work with operational and strategic teams to define the brief and scope of required projects and work closely with the Council's property partner, Arc Partnership, to ensure successful delivery.


Responsibilities

* Collaborate with Arc Partnership to ensure successful project delivery.
* Contribute to programmes delivering new buildings and improvements to the estate.
* Monitor progress and manage risk and health & safety in line with professional standards.
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support high-quality outcomes.

* Proficient interpersonal and communication skills.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Teams).
* An interest in developing commissioning expertise and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
* Experience in delivering projects.

Qualifications

You will be educated to degree level or have significant relevant experience and be able to demonstrate experience of successful delivery of property projects at all stages, from strategic definition to handover, across projects of varying scale and complexity. The role is within the Property Commissioning team. You will work to a high professional standard, taking a dynamic role in managing risk and health & safety.
