Chartered Building Surveyor Bristol & SouthWest Region | Government Framework Projects | Flexible WorkingAre you a Chartered Building Surveyor seeking the opportunity to work on high-profile public sector projects across Bristol and the South West, while enjoying genuine flexibility and autonomy in your role?Our client is a highly respected consultancy delivering projects through major Government Frameworks and is looking to strengthen its Building Surveying team with the appointment of a Chartered Building Surveyor.This role offers the opportunity to work on a substantial pipeline of projects across Bristol, the SouthWest and surrounding regions, including a significant volume of education sector work as part of the Government's School Rebuilding Programme.The OpportunityYou will play a key role in the delivery of complex construction and refurbishment projects across a varied public sector portfolio, working closely with clients, contractors and design teams from project inception through to completion.Key responsibilities will include:Project Management of refurbishment, capital improvement and new-build projectsContract Administration under JCT forms of contractConstruction Quality Management and site inspectionsMonitoring project delivery, programme performance and quality standardsManaging stakeholder relationships across public sector organisationsSupporting the successful delivery of projects within Government Framework agreementsProviding professional Building Surveying expertise throughout the project lifecycleAbout You: The successful candidate will ideally possess:MRICS Chartered statusProven Building Surveying and Project Management experienceStrong understanding of JCT contracts and contract administrationExperience within education, public sector or framework environments is desirableExcellent communication and client-facing skillsThe ability to manage multiple projects across Bristol and the South East regionWhat's on Offer?
