The Role
We are currently recruiting a People Operations Consultant (oversight and support) to join our People Operations Team within the Colleague Experience and Operations area of our People function to be responsible for efficiently managing and executing key HR processes, including manual HR transactions that can be complex unique and non‑journey related. (computer share, data subject access requests (DSAR) and risk and audit procedures. The SME will present a positive role model in this space being able to confidently prioritise tasks to deliver to timescales and to oversee the accuracy and timeliness of finance operations related to invoices and purchase orders. By maintaining rigorous standards and attention to detail, the role supports the people team to support the manager in delivering efficient complaint and audit‑ready operations across the organisations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end management of DSARs, including data collection, redaction and delivery ensuring full compliance with GDPR and internal data governance policies, ensuring effective methodical processing of DSAR to maximise technology and tools available to meet timescales outlined by the ICO. Maintain comprehensive records and documentation for each request to support transparency and accountability with the ability to provide data and reporting information as required.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for audit related activities, including the preparation of documentation and responses to audit enquiries.
* Proactively identify operational risks and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement effective mitigation strategies.
* Complete complex non‑standard HR transactions that fall outside automated workflows, ensuring precision, consistency, and regulatory compliance including computer share and visa related activity to support the function.
* Manage data reporting as required to support journey SME and other key activities through the cyclical HR Calendar.
* Pick up at an operational level anything outside of a journey that requires processing in a calm and curious manner with a view to enhancing future activity of the same or similar nature and to provide expert support
