Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented and experienced Office Administrator to join our team in this fast growing Electronics business. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing essential administrative support. This position requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in various software applications, and excellent phone etiquette. Duties
* Perform general clerical tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining office records.
* Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls.
* Enter data into manufacturing software efficiently and accurately.
* Maintain an organised office environment by ensuring supplies are stocked and equipment is functioning properly.
* Enter financial data into Sage50 accurately and efficiently.
* Provide administrative support to team members as needed, facilitating effective communication across departments.
* Handle scheduling and calendar management for meetings and appointments.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
* Experience of Sage50/Cim50 preferable but not essential - an ability to work with new systems is essential
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to communicate professionally with suppliers, customers and colleagues.
* Previous experience in an administrative or office role essential.
* Ability to type efficiently with high accuracy for data entry tasks.
* Familiarity with general office procedures and equipment is preferred.
* A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
