Client Take-on Manager – International Offshore Law Firm
Jersey | Hybrid Working
We're currently working with a leading international law firm, with multiple offshore offices, now looking to add a manager into the team. This is a great opportunity to join a growing firm, leading a high-performing onboarding and compliance support function.
You’ll be key in ensuring smooth, compliant client onboarding across multiple jurisdictions, while driving efficiency and leading a top performing team.
The Role
You will manage a global client onboarding team. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for ensuring client onboarding meets the highest regulatory standards while championing a culture of continuous improvement and excellent client service
Key Responsibilities:
\t
* Lead and develop a team of compliance onboarding analysts and senior analysts
\t
* Oversee the full client onboarding lifecycle, including AML reviews, CDD checks, client screening, and ongoing monitoring
\t
* Be the first POC for AML risk, onboarding delays, and complex regulatory queries
\t
* Work closely with Compliance, Risk and MLRO teams to align processes
\t
* Coordinate and enhance take-on procedures to improve speed, accuracy, and risk mitigation
Ensure ongoing compliance with local AML laws and international regulatory frameworks
Keep on top of legal and regulatory changes impacting the firm’s onboarding and risk management approach
About You:
\t
* 5+ years experience in a compliance, onboarding role in professional services (Legal or Offshore Sector)
\t
* Proven leadership and team management experience
\t
* Strong understanding of AML legislation and regulatory risk in a multi-jurisdictional context
\t
* ICA qualification or equivalent desirable
