*Job Overview*We are seeking a skilled Motor Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester to join our professional team. *Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections in accordance with MOT testing regulations
* Perform repairs, servicing, and maintenance on various makes and models of vehicles
* Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to carry out repairs and diagnostics
* Identify mechanical issues accurately and recommend appropriate solutions
* Carry out heavy lifting tasks safely when handling vehicle parts or components
* Maintain detailed records of work carried out and parts used
* Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and company policies
* Assist in diagnosing complex mechanical problems using specialised equipment where necessary
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician or similar role
* Valid MOT Tester certification or willingness to undertake training to achieve certification - Class 4 and 7 required, 3 and 5 as an advantage
* Strong mechanical knowledge across a broad range of vehicle systems
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively
* Must be able to provide own tools
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
* Good communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to customers and team members
* A valid driving licence is essential for this role

Starting salary of £40,000 a year (not including any additional Saturday work).
Monday - Friday 8:30-17:30 with the occasional Saturday 8:30-12:30.
28 days holiday per year.
