What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Ensure the office, depot, and facilities are maintained to high standards, including the operation of ancillary equipment.
* Participate in planned and reactive maintenance within the department.
* Monitor and maintain large industrial ammonia refrigeration plants to ensure optimal performance and availability.
* Maintain documentation to ensure legal compliance.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering, along with current Health and Safety regulations, Control of Legionnaires' Disease, and Electricity at Work Act legislation.
* Ability to make decisions regarding preventative and remedial maintenance, with strong technical evaluation skills.
* Initiative, clarity of thought, and quick problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
