Overview
Are you a Healthcare Assistant with a Level3 Health and Social Care specific qualification (NVQ, apprenticeship, diploma) or equivalent experience who wants to learn specialist skills in renal care?
Responsibilities
* Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Look after individual patients, preparing dialysis equipment for treatment.
* Monitor vital signs and assess, clean and redress catheter sites as required.
* Liaise with patients, their relatives and other visitors to the clinic.
* Keep equipment clean, supplies stocked, safely stored and used efficiently.
* Maintain up-to-date documentation.
* Administer medication when required.
Qualifications
Level3 Health and Social Care specific qualification (NVQ, apprenticeship, diploma) or equivalent experience. Enhanced DBS disclosure required.
Working hours
This is a full‑time role of 37.5 hours a week, working various shifts between Monday and Saturday 07:00am – 18:30pm.
