English Teacher needed for an SEMH Provision TLTP are looking for a qualified English teacher to work full-time at an SEMH Alternative Provision. The ideal candidate for this English Teacher role would have experience of working with secondary KS3/KS4 pupils with social emotional and mental health needs. The setting is a specialist provision based in Northwest London. This is a provision that's teaches pupils in KS3 & KS4 who are unable to attend their mainstream school due to their behavioural challenges. Many of the pupils have emotional and mental health needs. The main differences are: * Reduced curriculum offer- the provision delivers core subjects * Class sizes max 8-10 with some additional TA support in classes. * Therapeutic and nurturing environment and approaches to support access to the curriculum. * There is no specialist knowledge about Mental Health needed the pupils just want good teaching in class so they can get their GCSEs and move forward This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long term position as a English Teacher!
