Job Title: Class 1 (HGV) Container Driver

Job Overview
Aspion are currently seeking experienced Class 1 (HGV) Container Drivers operating out of Liverpool. This role involves transporting containers to and from the docks and customer sites across the North West and wider UK.
A dock card (e.g. Port Skills and Safety / RHIDES) is preferred but not essential, provided you have proven container driving experience and a strong understanding of port procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Transport shipping containers safely and efficiently to and from ports and delivery locations
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
* Ensure all loads are secure and compliant with legal requirements
* Complete delivery paperwork accurately and on time
* Adhere to all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and company policies
* Maintain excellent communication with transport planners and customers
* Represent the company professionally at all times
Requirements
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
* Minimum 1-2 years Class 1 driving experience (container experience preferred)
* Experience with port work and container haulage
* Dock card (preferred but not essential)
* Good knowledge of UK road networks
* Strong safety awareness and reliability
