Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while assisting with various tasks related to hospitality and guest services. Required to be flexible and able to work evenings, including weekends and bank holidays, according to a flexible schedule.
Duties
* Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
* Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met.
* Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to enhance guest experience.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations.
* Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes.
* Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality service.
* Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain high service standards.
Qualifications
* Experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment of three years or over is essential.
* Strong understanding of food safety practices and procedures.
* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
* Outstanding guest service skills with a focus on hospitality.
* Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a positive guest experience.
